Summary: Two series of double pages enumerate in turn five activities traditionally associated with girls and boys. On the pages on the left, there are photographs of girls playing with dolls, dancing or jumping rope, and boys playing soccer, playing with carts or simulating war. In contrast, the staged ideas received are supported by a provocative sentence written in capital letters on a bright flap: "The boys do not play at the dinner" or "Girls is not handyman". These affirmations are fortunately contradicted by the uprising of large flaps which reveal new photographs respectively staging, in the cases cited above, a man feeding his child and a woman working in the construction.
